Developer Pendle Russells is set to hand over the first in a series of new units at the new Baildon Business Park near Bradford. Construction of a 15,000 sq ft facility for surgical equipment manufacturer Anetic Aid has completed, alongside two neighbouring speculative units totaling a further 14,000 sq ft of space.
The new building is the first to complete at the £15m Baildon Business Park, 13-acre site on Otley Road. The second facility under construction, a 28,000 sq ft scheme for precision-engineering firm Produmax, is set to finish by the autumn.
Developer Mark Taylforth is pleased with the progress and popularity of the site so far. He said: “It’s very satisfying to see the first of the units complete and we’re looking forward to Anetic Aid moving into their new home over the summer.
“Although built speculatively, we don’t expect the neighbouring units to be vacant for very long as there is significant interest in both, with two parties having gone to legals, which we hope to be able to announce very soon.”
Baildon Business Park is a 15-acre site on Otley Road which will eventually house a total 150,000 sq ft of business space. It has planning for B1, B2 and ancillary B8 units up to 60,000 sq ft.
